About Me

My career started in Los Angeles, CA working for an accounting firm that took me in despite having minimal knowledge of accounting.  My time in LA was spent learning the nuances of tax accounting between difference entities as well as how to interpret and apply tax law.

  

In 2012 I made the decision to move to Reno, NV to be closer to family and hopefully put down some roots.  I was lucky to be able to work for a local firm where I was able to not only deepen my understanding of tax preparation but also broaden my knowledge on general business practices.

In 2015 I got to marry my best friend who took a chance and moved to Reno in 2012 to be with me.  She and I live happily with our two puppies Finn and Luna.  When I am not working, I enjoy hiking national parks, reading, writing, and getting tattoos.
